Hi

I have been out of a career for 7 years after running my own businesses and travelling.  I have a B.Acc (Hons) degree in Accountancy with Computing Science and 5 years work experience in both accounting and IT.

Could investment banking be right for me?  Worried I could be too old (33) to start something new from scratch, but work hours and where I live doesn't bother me.  I think I have the right skills and qualities also.

Any advice would be very welcome - it's difficult to know where to look first!  Thanks a lot
Greg

If I were you I would start with the CFA. I think it is a very good thing for all those who want to switch their careers.

In general certificates are best solution for career switchers, not only CFA but for example ACCA, or CAIA . You do not have to go to school for years to do them and these certificates have very good reputation on the market.

Best,

Student
