Now ive been interested in Banking/Investment Banking since I left school & Believe its something i was to do for a career , But i just don't know where to start? Obviously London + the city will be a place to start but where? How? Any advice please?

Whilst your a levels are admirable, the main investment banks will only consider university graduates for all but the most junior positions.  I would suggest that you continue with your studies in an economics, mathematics or business related subject and then strive to enroll on a graduate scheme with your bank of choice.  The further years of study will be well rewarded later in your career.

If you're keen to start work now, why not try invoice finance/factoring/asset based lending. If you're good, easy to rise to the top and plenty of opportunities to branch off into other areas especially if you're with one of the big boys, Lloyds, HSBC, Barclays. Agencies are an issue, which one! I do know a new website coming which uses the idea of advertising, bit of a one stop shop www.jobs-wall.co.uk Me - I'm an accountant who puts some IF facilities in place for clients and its definitely a growth area at the moment
