Hi all,
Here's a little bit introduction about myself.
I am 23 years old, graduated 1 year ago with a bachelor honours degree in computer networking. Currently I am working as IT support in one of the Singapore medium enterprise and have been working for the 9 months since I graduated.
But when I was in my final year of university only then I realized that I am looking something else than IT field.
So, I accepted this IT job offer due to no other choice for me.
after done some research, I plan to have a career change into investment banking. I will stay in the current company (IT support) until next year in order to have something to write on my career portfolio and also to get myself prepare well to venture in this new career path.
I wanted to ask;
1. Do you think one year is enough for me to prepare myself well?
2. What steps should I take into my preparation, as you know I don't have any qualification in finance or banking.
3. Will you suggest me to take any course, like CFA (charter financial analyst) or go for any finance certificate?
So, please help me in these doubts.
I hope 1 year later, I can have a resume that will attract employer to call me up for interview.
Thanks for your time and God bless.
Best regards,
Samuel |
