Hello,
I currently work as a credit analyst and have been offered career choices that include continuing to go down the credit analyst path OR get into one of two other paths. One is portfolio analyst and the other, small business lending, with the bank I work with. My question is one for experienced banking employees as I don't know much about what a portfolio analyst does, nor do I know a lot about the life of a small business lender so had hoped to get some ideas on career growth and security for these positions. Any thoughts and pointers would be greatly appreciated.
