Hi to everyone,

I am an Italian banking and strucutred finance lawyer working with a magic circle law firm. In the past I worked with the Capital Market dept. of a well known Wall St. law firm in Italy. I was thinking to switch to the investment but I am afraid my law background could not help because I have not an MBA.

I believe to possess strong academic and professional credentials, at least from a law practice perspective. I graduated with the maximum score and hold two LLMs (Master of Laws- one in Tax at the Queen Mary and Westfield College in London and another at the University of Chicago Law School) . I have experienced many changes in my life (I was taxlawyer, then Capital Markets awyer and now banking lawyer) and would be ready to embark into this new adventure but the doubts casted above. I have heard about former lawyers switiching to investment banking and apparently someone is making career. Do you think I may get some chance to switch?

I would really apprecite if some of you may give me some nice instructions.
