Hi everyone!
I have a trivial question about how ATMs work, in particular; how does the ATM work in relationship to updating the withdrawer's account balance?
When someone withdraws the money, is his/her bank account immediately updated (real-time), or are these transactions being stored in the general ledger and then the system runs a batch process to update the respective bank's accounts?

every atm machine can connect to their bank server like a computer through their personal ip address..whenever somebuddy withdrawl a amount from his/her a/c a information can be send to their bank through the atm machine to bank server....
